Cinderella is one of my favorite movies…whether it is a cartoon or with actors and actresses…or both.
It really has a beautiful message. And NO it is not the message that marriage leads to happily ever after, although that is true in my case.
What I like is the message of Hope.  That no matter what is wrong in the world, one should and can have hope.
Yes it is a fairytale but I see Christ in the middle of the message.  I see the hope that only Christ can give in the midst of the worst of circumstances.
He alone gives me hope…Hope when things are going as I would like them to go…and Hope when things aren’t…because I know that in Him all will be okay.
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28
Notice this Scripture states that in all things FOR GOD work for good for those who LOVE HIM…and for this who have been called according to HIS PURPOSE.
Today across the world there are many that have nothing to hold onto but Hope. I pray their Hope is planted in the foundation of Christ.
Hope knowing that there will be a new heaven and new earth with God dwelling among His people. He will wipe away our tears and there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things will pass away.

Our Salvation won’t come in the form of a pumpkin carriage, silver slippers, or a Prince Charming.  Our Salvation is only found in Christ.

My Silver Slipper!
My Silver Slipper!
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
Put your trust in Christ, not in fairytales or mankind…it is only through Christ you will find true Hope and eternal life.
Blessings, Susan
