You are Worthy

Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much. -Helen Keller

Do you close others out and try to live like as an island?

We need each other.

“so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.” Romans 12:5

As Christians we are to work together as partners.

Respect one another and appreciate what your brothers and sisters in Christ have to offer.

Each has a special role in this journey of life.

When the children of God wandered in the wilderness the High Priest had the honor to enter The Holy of Holies.

BUT…did you ever stop to think of the people who had the holy privilege of weaving the beautiful veil that separated The Holy Place and The Holy of Holies?

What were their names?

Those precious hands that made this sacred fine linen of blue, purple and scarlet yarn were never named in The Bible, but the hours of tedious labor were invaluable in the construction of The Tabernacle of God.

Do you feel your role in life is not important? That your contribution is so small that it’s insignificant?

How about the makers of the thread that was used to make the veil?

Or who made the dye to color the thread?

The Tabernacle itself had four coverings, the first was linen, the second was goats hair, the third was ram’s skin dyed red, and the fourth was badger skins. The badger skin covering was the only covering which was seen on the outside which was that dull and unattractive skin.

Someone had to raise the goats? Did they ever dream that their goats would supply the goat hair for The Tabernacle of God?

Your name may never be in lights.

My name may never be in lights, unless I shine a flashlight on it. (LOL)

God has a plan and a purpose for our life. That purpose may be a behind the scenes person – constructing the “threads” of this tapestry called life.

God has freely given each of us a variety of spiritual gifts.

With what has He empowered you?

Do not underestimate your value to the Body of Christ!!

No matter what your role is in life, be assured you are of value!

“Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ.”
1 Corinthians 12:12

God wants your life to be woven into His tapestry of love, in touch with everything there is to know of God.

Embed in your tapestry the richest treasures of God’s wisdom and knowledge.

Fix your eyes on Christ. Allow God to minister to you and be confident all things are in His hands…relax, refresh, and renew.

As you reflect on who you are, is Christ right there in the center?

Is He truly your Savior?

Make Him the golden thread woven into each strand of the fabric of your life.

“The Lord has made everything for its purpose.”

You, my dear friend, when God made you, He had many purposes in mind.

I for one am thankful that one of those purposes was to be part of my ministry. I am thankful He included my thread in your tapestry and you in mine.

This week listen to God’s voice. Hear Him guide you…ask Him to show you what parts of your Tapestry may need more attention, what sections may need to be cut out, what threads need to be stronger, which segments require more color, and when you should just take Christ’s Tapestry and wrap it around you…wrapping Him around you and just rest in His glory.
