Prayers ~ like sweet incense

I apologize.

If you read my original post last night, you would have thought I had typed it in the dark.

It was such a serious subject, prayers for the missing Malaysian airplane, and my errors may have detracted from the message.

Fortunately God does not care how our prayers are written. Spelling errors…grammatical errors…I am confident that God is not concerned about such things. He looks at our heart.

Together we must continue to lift up the passengers and crew that were on the missing plane AND their family members.

“and call on me in the day of trouble;” Psalm 50:15a (NIV)

In Old Testament times Aaron, the High Priest, burnt fragrant incense every morning and evening while the people prayed.

As the world prays for this tragedy, I imagine these prayers billowing from earth to the Throne of God.

Lord, may our prayers be accepted as sweet-smelling incense in your presence.

Blessings, Susan
