Long plane rides are not fun, especially in coach!

Long plane rides in coach are even less fun if your laptop falls off your lap and smashes your ankle!!

Yes, that was me this past week. Instantly my ankle swelled.

But it is in the middle of these daily little “bumps” of life you can meet some of the nicest people.

The flight attendants made sure I had ice and were so attentive.

But how in the world was I going to attach the ice bag around my ankle?

The lady across the aisle gave me her sleeping mask to tie around the bag and my ankle. What a gracious act! Thank you!

One of the flight attendants asked me if I needed them to see if a nurse or doctor was on the flight…I’m a nurse…so there was one on the flight. LOL We ended up chatting, having several things in common.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank DELTA for how helpful their flight attendants were and to thank the passenger across the aisle.

This was such a different flight than I had a few weeks ago…someone pilfered money from my wallet while I was in the lavatory. NOTE TO SELF…take purse with you!!

Genesis 50:20 speaks of what the devil intended for evil, God turned around for the best.

Although my ankle still hurts…I take with me memories of people reaching out and helping…and for that I am thankful.
