Flip your day upside-down

Crawl through the rush hour traffic. Stay green, stay green…please don’t turn red!!

Creep through the parking garage. Where is an empty space?

Speed walk through the lobby. Why is that person in front of me going so slowly?

Wait for the elevator. Will it ever arrive?

Dash to my desk. Coffee…do I have time to get coffee?

Does this sound familiar?

The lobby of my company’s office complex is gorgeous. As each of us rush to our respective cubicles, office spaces, or conference rooms we are oblivious to the beauty around us.

Tuesday I deliberately took the opportunity to enjoy the picturesque atrium. Stunning. Really stunning.

It is my hope that daily I take the time to appreciate all of God’s splendor…not just an impressive courtyard.

My prayer is that tomorrow’s itinerary is…

Crawl through the rush hour traffic. Wow, Lord, what a beautiful sky!!

Creep through the parking garage. Thank you, Lord, for this empty space!

Walk through the lobby. Thank you, Lord, for the opportunity to work in such a lovely place.

Wait for the elevator. Greet my co-workers.

Walk to my desk. Coffee…anyone else want a cup of coffee?

Take a moment and enjoy what God has provided!

How can you relook at your morning tomorrow and flip it upside-down?

God made all kinds of trees grow from the ground, trees beautiful to look at and good to eat.

Blessings, Susan
