Adoption

Tammy, my daughter-in-law and her twin sister, Jenny, along with another friend, Michelle, have a wonderful blog called iwokeupyesterday.

Tears rolled down my cheeks as I read Jenny’s entry this past week.

I was so moved by this post that I wanted to share it with you.

Already the biological parents of three children, several years ago Jenny and her husband, Matt, became Foster Parents to an adorable set of fraternal twins…Dalton and Gloria. At that time the twins weren’t even three-years-old.

I knew there had been struggles in getting the twins to assimilate but never did I realize the emotional roller coaster of joy and pain this family rides daily.

Please take the time to read this transparent message about family, adoption, and the gift of adoption.

But before you do, please pray with me for this beautiful family…
PRAYER
Heavenly Father,
I lift up to you Jenny and her family. I ask you, Lord, to continue to guide and direct them in how to help Dalton. I thank you, Lord, that Jenny felt safe to share such personal and painful family details…but now she has people across the world speaking to you on this family’s behalf. We praise you that we live in a time that allows such communication. Lord, I pray this in Jesus name. AMEN
