Urgent Prayer Request

Completing my walk, my young neighbor said hi. We are on a friendly basis, but rarely get to actually chat…especially this summer. They never seemed to be home during the day.

Now I know why…their four-year-old daughter, Logan, was diagnoses this summer with Leukemia…the same illness her Mom’s sister died of just before Logan’s birth.

Fortunately our neighbor’s little girl has her age on her side according to her Mom. Sadly her Aunt’s age, twenty-seven, was why she did not respond to treatment.

So far the treatment is going well. This week she was allowed to go outside.

Her family has a great faith in God to get them through this trial.20130831-154844.jpg

Join me in lifting this sweet little girl up in prayer.

I want to see her riding her bicycle again down our sidewalk…one day see her in her high school prom dress…graduate from college and have her own children.

Thank you, dear readers, for taking this moment to pray for this adorable little girl.

Psalm 103:2-5
Contemporary English Version (CEV)
2 With all my heart
I praise the Lord!
I will never forget
how kind He has been.
3 The Lord forgives our sins,
heals us when we are sick,
4 and protects us from death.
His kindness and love
are a crown on our heads.
5 Each day that we live,
He provides for our needs
and gives us the strength
of a young eagle.

Blessings, Susan

Prayers coming her way. I remember a little boy in our congregation stricken also with the disease. He was cured and is today in his mid 30’s with 2 children. God is good. All the time.
