Photo Op

Saturday morning I arrived with my point and shoot camera for my first outing with my newly joined photo club. One could title this day as “A novice photographer at the Central Florida Zoo and Botanical Gardens”!!

First impressions…

Nice group ~ met new people and rekindled an old relationship

Weather ~ hot, humid, and then rained!

Zoo ~ much nicer than remembered (granted it has been 20+ years since I have been there!)

Staff ~ friendly, informative

Fellow Photographers ~ helpful, fun, nice, friendly…a great group

Animals ~ good variety, not in small cages, clean environment

Photos ~ it takes a lot of photos to get a few good shots!!

The best out of the 90+ I took!

Okay, I agree…not all of these are that great, but looking at them brings back good memories. Even the screeching of the Lemurs (think that was who was screeching) was entertaining. I had such fun taking them, I just had to include some of the not so good ones.

In this day and age we are so blessed that we can take digital photos. Imagine if the disciples had digital cameras!

What if we had a photo diary of Christ’s life here on earth? How would that effect your faith or lack there of?

We may not have a photo journal of His life, but we do have the eye-witness accounts of His disciples and followers…The New Testament.

…if you search for Him with all your heart and soul, you will find Him. Deuteronomy 4:29b (NLT)

If you are seeking God, I encourage you to find a local church and join one of their small groups. You may have never been to a church or it may have been years since you last saw the inside of a church. Ask your friends where they go, search the web for a place locally…talk to God. “Church” may not seem like your thing, but I am not talking about just a building.

I am challenge you to get to know God…get a good picture of who He really is.

Blessings, Susan
