Find your passion

The tragedy of life doesn’t lie in not reaching your goal. The tragedy lies in having no goal to reach. It isn’t a calamity to die with dreams unfulfilled, but it is a calamity not to dream.

But what if you don’t have a dream? What if you just don’t know what your passion is?

Write down your 3 favorite books, 3 favorite movies and 3 favorite TV shows. Then write down your 3 favorite things to do.

Is there a common thread?

Then ask your friends (you could do this via email, Facebook, or in person) what is your thing…that thing that makes you you. What do they see as your passion?

Again…is there a common thread?

Use this info to help you find your passion.

Then be willing to travel down this new road.

Re-read the quote at the beginning of this post. Find a goal. Reach for it. Ask for God’s direction.

Blessings, Susan

  1. Thank you for writing this. My favorite things to do are hiking, doing random acts of kindness, and playing with dogs. Nothing too serious or intellectual. Just feel good kind of things! Where does that leave me?
