I can accept failure. Everyone fails at something. But I can’t accept not trying.
– Michael Jordan
I’ll have to say I’m a hard worker – sometimes to the detriment of my family and myself.
A workaholic one may say. Most definitely I’m not a slacker.
One could say that I need to find a balance.
How do I find balance especially when Scripture tells us:
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, (Colossians 3:23 NIV)
But I take that verse a little overboard at times.
And then when I work with someone that does not have the same work ethics I have…well needless to say it is difficult for me.
I ask you…What is the best way to handle such situations?
How do you handle them?
I don’t pretend to have the answers, in fact I have more questions than answers.
But one thing I know is I need your prayers to find balance, to work diligently but to know when to let it go and to have me time, family time, and most definitely spiritual time.
Also I need to learn not to take things so seriously.
Pray with me – not only for myself, but for those of you that deal with the same or similar struggles.
BALANCE…a good thing.
